It’s been a long, long journey, but I am beyond thrilled that I can announce the birth of our son here!
We are overjoyed to present our son, Oscar, who was born on May 17th at 5:06 p.m..
He weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. at birth and measured 20 3/4 inches long.
The birth was textbook perfect and everyone is doing great.
He had some jaundice which kept him in the hospital an extra day, but it’s improving now and he’s doing great.
We are so incredibly happy he has joined our family and so grateful for everyone who has kept our family in their thoughts as we struggled to get to this happy event.
At least so far he’s a pretty easy baby (knock wood) and having a child to look after in the world is serious motivation to be healthy, and so I’m hoping to get back to blogging in the weeks to come.
